Contract Administration involves all necessary activities for a construction project performance from the initial stage to its final stage. These activities include monitoring of the project performance with the agreed contractual obligations between the parties to the contract.
The process of increasing the probability that the project will be constructed in substantial compliance with the contract documents.
At Scope Project Management,
Our Contract Administrators will typically help the Contractor in the following:
- Review plans, specifications and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
- Manage paperwork related to contracts
- Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
- Work with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and others to make sure project goals are met
